2020 Faculty Show

The Work of the Work

January 31 — February 14, 2020

The theme of this exhibition—which features work by Emily Carr University of Art and Design instructors—focuses on the relationship between labour and creative practice, inspired by “the challenging working conditions faculty face at this institution.”

During the exhibition, the Open Studio saw many classes take place, faculty and students alike occupying the space to read, co-work, make art, and share meals. Many thanks to Valerie D. Walker for leading the programming of this space over the course of the week.
